What is:
A Mexican baptism Is a religious and family celebration.
It usually happens when a baby is a few months old.
The baptism welcomes the child into the catholic church.

White decorations (white represents purity)
Balloons and flowers
Crosses and angels
Candles
Traditions:
Church ceremony (a priest pours holy water on the baby’s head.
Godparents (they help in the ceremony and promise to guide the child)
The candle and shell (the godparents often bring a candle and a small shell for the holy water)
Baptism dress (the baby wears a long, white dress or outfit)
Party (after the church, there is a party
Rosaries and memories (small religious souvenirs are given to guests as memories.
